Coach Amy is a two-time Master-Rated Figure Skating Coach and US Figure Skating Technical Specialist who specializes in teaching strong basic skating skills to help athletes progress through the sport in a fun and healthy way. She believes in educating her athletes to become strong individuals on and off the ice. Amy shares her passion for skating to inspire her students to reach their full potential!

Amy offers services to athletes of all ages and skill levels. With a passion for developing strong, independent skaters, she provides a range of specialized training options, including private on and off-ice lessons, semi-private lessons, choreography, electrical spinner training, and consultations. Excellence is achieved and not merely anointed. Having the opportunity to sing the praises of my former student Amy Nunn is the highest honor. Not only was Amy a high level competitive skater and a PSA Rated Coach she is organized and skilled, inspiring to her students and demanding of the excellence she herself has worked for her entire career to obtain. Never sitting on her laurels she continues to educate herself through the PSA ratings process, Mills Method of Choreography course and presenting seminars for her students to learn and grow. I have been so blessed to have Coach Amy by my side as my love for figure skating was reignited. Coach Amy plays a huge role in why I have stayed on the ice and why I have progressed as far as I did over the past year. Coach Amy will push you to be your best, but will also be there through the ups and downs of your life. She has been so supportive through my mental health problems, and I feel like I can talk to her about anything going on in my life, even when it doesn’t pertain to skating. She genuinely cares about her students well being, and is always respectful when she is coaching. I’ve had plenty of coaches and Coach Amy is one of the best coaches I’ve ever had. I’m so lucky to have found her and I will definitely continue skating throughout college with confidence that I have an amazing, supportive coach.
